*”My name is Dr. Ferenc Császár. Throughout my professional career, I have always believed that mental health conditions should be approached from a comprehensive, multidisciplinary perspective. This commitment led me to obtain a degree in psychology alongside my medical qualification.
I currently work at the Acute Psychiatry Department of the Markusovszky University Teaching Hospital in Vas County, where I provide both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction care. In addition, I practice at the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Körmend.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in scientific research. My primary research focuses on recovery processes among individuals using novel psychoactive substances, as well as behavioural addictions in people living with obesity and in patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Ótemplomi Charity Service Rehabilitation Centre in Nagyszénás, I also support individuals on their journey toward long-term recovery.
